NEW SCREENWRITING WORKSHOP
Mark DeGasperi`s eight-week Screenwriting III workshop at New York University
starts on the 23rd of May, 2012. In this advanced writing workshop, emphasis is
on either the development of a new script or revision of a completed one. Individual
attention is given to each student in a private interview session in which his or her full
script is discussed, at the end of the semester. Previous students have succeeded in the
Nicholl Fellowships, Sundance, Slamdance, Austin Film Festival and more; and have
had their scripts optioned, and had films made. For more information or to sign up

Additionally: the new Marketing Your Screenplay seminar on June 9 and 16,
2012 at New York University is for writers who have completed a script and are
ready to show it -- or even just thinking of writing one -- and want to find the
best way of getting their stories into the hands of film producers and agents.
It teaches students how to write an effective pitch and one-sheet, with advice
on how to market their finished screenplays. At least two industry professionals
working in story development will attend as guest speakers.
